Announcing the Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign for GOODNIGHT MOON BASE

A major reason I wrote and self-published my first book in 2014, How To Be a Rocket Scientist, was to help more people realize their untapped potential and fulfill their dreams for a career in the aerospace or aviation fields. It was geared toward young adults and young professionals.

I discovered that it actually found the greatest interest in high school students. Fortunately, it was still very relevant and valuable for them!

This began a process of me eventually working my way down in ages to have an even bigger impact with books.

Since then I have created over a dozen kid’s books for coloring, puzzles, and activities that are centered on STEM topics like space exploration, electric vehicles, and cybersecurity.

Now I’m working on my biggest and most humbitious book project yet. (Humbitious means humble and ambitious.)

My rather analytical thought process that I have gone through over the past few years has led me to conclude that one of the most effective “tools” we could have to inspire our younger generations to advance beyond Earth is this: a bedtime story book.

Imagine a toddler with a memorable and engaging bedtime ritual that transports them beyond Earth every night, thanks to the exciting powers and abilities of aerospace technologies.

The first world humans settle beyond Earth is going to be our moon. I want this future to happen as soon as possible. But we also need it to happen for the right reasons. With the right people.

That means we need the first human settlement on the moon to be founded on the principles of peace, cooperation, and prosperity.

To bring this vision into a clear and compelling reality, I have written and will publish a futuristic version of the popular classic Goodnight Moon. It is called Goodnight Moon Base.

The vision of Goodnight Moon Base is to transport young children TO the moon every night for bedtime. When they have a vision of living (and sleeping) on the moon that is so engaging and inspiring that they can see and feel themselves in it every night as they go to sleep, we will increase the chances that they will wake up the next day with the spiritual fuel to pursue this vision in their life.

There are several quotes and truisms with the message that “you must see it before you can achieve it.”

Enter, GOODNIGHT MOON BASE!

To help make this vision – and this book – a reality, I am launching a crowdfunding campaign on the popular website Kickstarter. The launch date is expected to be at the end of June or possibly the beginning of July.

But before the launch, this is the time – right now – for people who support this vision to visit the Kickstarter page and request to be notified when the campaign is launched.

If you are reading this article in June 2021, this is my humbitious request to you.

Please go to this link to see the preview page for GOODNIGHT MOON BASE. Then look for the green button to get notified when the campaign launches. Click that green button, log in to your Kickstarter account (or create one if you have to), and agree to be notified when this campaign goes live.

Whatever you do to advance humanity beyond Earth is worth encouraging and supporting! We need more of that.

Thank you for joining with me to make our world a better place – including the worlds we settle beyond Earth.

Our first big step into the cosmos is the moon. We need to make it happen.

To help us achieve this reality, I sincerely believe that your help to make GOODNIGHT MOON BASE a reality would make a profound difference.

Thanks for whatever you can do to make this future happen.
