The first editions of GOODNIGHT MOON BASE land today 1

A journey two years in the making comes to an exciting milestone today. At the end of 2019, I concluded that the most effective way to foster future generations of rocket scientists was to start as early and as young as possible.

That meant reaching out to and connecting with toddlers and infants.

For those of you reading this blog post who are older than that, I haven’t forgotten about or stopped caring about you! You’ll still find a wealth of resources and practical tips on this website. And in my first book, How To Be A Rocket Scientist.

But now I’m thrilled to share that the first two editions of my new bedtime book are available on multiple outlets.

GOODNIGHT MOON BASE is now available as an eBook and an interactive Coloring Book.

Inspired by the popular classic book “Goodnight Moon”, GOODNIGHT MOON BASE adds this one simple yet profound word to transform bedtime TO the moon every night.

“It’s inspiring to see a work that creates a lasting impact and sparks unquenchable flames of exploration in the minds of kids.”

Abdul I Sesay,
National Coordinator at Moon Village Association
Sierra Leone

Through original, immersive, hand-painted illustrations from an aerospace industry veteran and talented artist, Steve Tanaka, every reader will be transported to the world of our future moon base.

They will be introduced to a world of nature, science, and art that connects them to the cosmos…

Today is when the digital edition of the book is launched. You can benefit from the immediate speed and accessibility of our digital age by dowloading the eBook version of GOODNIGHT MOON BASE through these channels right now:

For those who want a more interactive, creative, and kinesthetic experience; the COLORING BOOK EDITION of GOODNIGHT MOON BASE is also available starting today:

If there is any young person you know who has the interest or the potential to be one of our future space explorers and space pioneers, I hope you’ll share these books with them. There is greatness ahead for humanity. The sooner – and earlier – we start, the better.

I’ll have more to share shortly. Those who look inside of these books will find some of these treasures themselves.

In the meantime, thank you for your interest in learning how to be a rocket scientist. It’s good to remember and rekindle the enthusiasm that we had as a little child! Maybe a coloring book about living on a moon base would be a happy and inspirational recreational activity for you too!

Until the next transmission, take care and take charge.
